Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit serving patients across all age groups
• Monitor and manage patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses in an acute care setting
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EHR
• Participate in weekend coverage on an every-other or as-needed basis
• Fulfill float and on-call requirements as needed per unit demands
• Adhere to facility dress code; scrubs in traveler's color of choice — no casual wear permitted

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid for practice in North Carolina
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MST) experience
• BLS certification required
• CPI / HWC / MAB certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Joint Commission Accredited facility
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Professional demeanor with strong adaptability in a fast-paced acute care environment
