Travel RN – Telemetry (3 West)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend rotation required | Projected Start: November 2, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Operate and manage equipment including Alaris pumps and Kangaroo pumps
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to med-surg and telemetry units as needed
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and unit coordinators as part of a structured night shift team

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Ability to wear royal blue scrubs per facility dress code
• Willingness to rotate weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
