Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 48 treatment spaces
Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of emergency patients across varying acuity levels
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications

Active RN license valid in the state of New York
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a large or high-volume ED environment
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems used in emergency care settings
Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills
