Contract | Mid Shift (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 48-treatment-space Emergency Department
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate timely and effective treatment plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or large-capacity emergency department
• Familiarity with triage protocols and emergency nursing best practices
• Strong critical thinking and ability to manage multiple acuity levels simultaneously
