Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday with 3 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per 6-week period | 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physical therapy services in an acute care hospital setting, including evaluation and treatment of patients with complex medical and trauma-related conditions
• Work independently to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in a Trauma Level II facility with Stroke Certification
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled (3 weekend shifts per 6-week period)
• May be required to float to a nearby sister facility as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist license required; may submit with license pending if proof of submission is provided
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered if able to demonstrate ability to work independently
• Acute care inpatient experience is required — no exceptions
• Must be comfortable working independently in a Trauma Level II environment
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard traveler rates; locals within 50 miles are accepted at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma experience is highly preferred given the facility's Trauma Level II designation
• Experience with Epic charting system
• First-time travelers with acute care and trauma experience are welcome to apply
