Contract | Full-Time | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 On-Call Shifts Expected Every 4 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, delivering high-quality nursing services to critically ill patients
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including attendance expectations and holiday coverage
• Complete pre-start orientation modules (non-billable, averaging approximately 2 hours) prior to assignment start
• Adhere to scheduling expectations, keeping time-off requests to a minimum — particularly during the first two weeks of assignment and avoiding full calendar weeks off; all time-off requests must be approved and documented prior to assignment start

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in South Carolina at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• 2 supervisory references required
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 5 years before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the travel rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple units or to affiliate facilities
• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environments
• Flexibility with scheduling, including holiday shifts and on-call obligations
