Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 On-Call Shifts Every 4 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, maintaining high standards of clinical excellence throughout the assignment
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed based on census and staffing demands
• Participate in on-call shifts as scheduled (2 on-call shifts per 4-week period)
• Work some holidays as part of the standard schedule expectations
• Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to the start of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required
• 2 supervisory references required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be accepted at a local rate
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 5 years before being eligible to return as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between multiple units or facilities in a travel or per diem capacity
• Familiarity with ICU float pool environments and adaptability to varying patient populations
• Strong time management skills with the ability to minimize time-off requests, particularly during the first two weeks of an assignment
