Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Care for newborns immediately following delivery
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections
• Support procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Document patient care using CPN and Meditach systems
• Adhere to a scheduling requirement of 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per assignment period; travelers float first per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring certification (not advanced) OR CEFM certification required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CPN and/or Meditach documentation systems
• Familiarity with shared decision-making models in patient care
• Experience circulating and recovering C-section patients
