Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience in a high-volume operating room environment
• Demonstrate proficiency across a broad range of surgical specialties including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, sterile technique standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all surgical procedures
• Meet holiday coverage expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room nursing
• BLS certification required (AHS)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties, including robotic-assisted procedures
• Strong adaptability and ability to scrub and circulate in varied case types
