Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations — if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work those holidays; if three fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
• Complete all orientation modules as assigned; module hours are non-billable and vary by specialty
• Maintain full compliance with onboarding requirements, including core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or on-site, including during orientation week; maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
• All compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to the start date; failure to comply may result in a two-week start delay due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
• Candidates who have previously worked at the facility as permanent, per diem, or FCSS staff must have been away from all system facilities for a minimum of one full year before applying as a traveler
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• Experience working in a high-acuity or high-volume emergency department
• Familiarity with large health system protocols and compliance processes
