Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a multi-OR environment supporting surgical specialties including robotic, orthopedic, general, GYN, vascular, urology, and neurology (ortho spine)
• Circulate in the OR as a primary function of this role
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during day, night, and weekend shifts
• Participate in on-call coverage, including approximately 3 overnight call shifts and 1–2 weekend call shifts per 4-week period, with a 30-minute call response time requirement
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Support urgent and emergent cases as needed after 7:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Circulate skills required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions accepted
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgical procedures
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-OR acute care environment
• Experience with adult patient populations in a community hospital setting
