Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and complete start of care visits with next-day mandatory reporting
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) within the assigned territory
- Complete clinical notes and all required documentation within 48 hours of each visit
- Maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office staff during normal business hours
- Manage a caseload structured to average 8 hours per day across a variety of visit types, including start of care, recertifications, resumptions of care, evaluations, and revisits
- Expand service territory within Alameda County as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- Minimum of one (1) year of Home Health experience
- Proficiency or ability to learn electronic documentation systems (Kinnser)
- Ability to meet a productivity requirement of 30 points per week
- Overtime, if applicable, requires pre-approval from the Clinical Supervisor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with OASIS documentation, including start of care, recertification, resumption of care, and discharge assessments
- Familiarity with supervising OTAs in a home health setting
- Strong time management and self-directed work habits suited for a field-based role
