Job Title

Multimodality Technologist – CT / X-Ray

Location

Summerville, SC | Acute Care / Teaching Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic imaging in both X-ray and CT modalities within a high-volume acute care environment
• Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure competency in all procedures performed
• Produce diagnostic-quality images for interpretation or at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic
• May be required to float to additional outpatient or freestanding emergency department locations as needed based on facility needs
• Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a multimodality technologist; first-time travelers considered with 2 years of experience
• ARRT registration in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
• SCRQSA licensure required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in adult inpatient and emergency settings; proficiency with Siemens equipment, PACS, and Epic required
• Radiation badge must be provided by the placing agency — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Pediatric imaging experience
• Orthopedic exams in both X-ray and CT modalities
