Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Stepdown unit managing diagnoses including chest pain, NSTEMI/STEMI, AMI, AFib, CHF, bradycardia, and SVT/tachycardia
• Support and monitor patients undergoing or recovering from procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, TEE, cardioversion, stress tests, pacemaker placement, and AICD insertion
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to all unit-specific holiday scheduling expectations; travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period per facility policy
• Maintain full compliance with all onboarding requirements, including completion of core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing and submission of all compliance documents by the Tuesday prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Stepdown experience required; this unit does not accept first-time travelers
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or after onsite start, including during orientation week
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or stepdown setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with post-procedural care following cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology procedures
