Contract | Night Shift | Shift hours run 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
• Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Provide care within a Stroke Certified hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or compact eligibility
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Stepdown clinical setting
• Ability to work night shift hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Must adhere to facility dress code: RN scrub color is ceil blue or white

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a stroke-certified hospital or neurology-related care setting
• Demonstrated experience with clinical staff supervision and delegation
• Strong resource management and patient safety skills in a step-down or intermediate care environment
