Contract | 3x12-hour evening/night shifts | 1100–2330 | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for and perform all MRI examinations while operating assigned equipment safely and as instructed
- Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for the effective utilization of the MRI scanner
- Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of the scanner and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures
- Utilize PACS, RIS, and current EMR efficiently and complete required documentation for each examination performed
- Transfer and lift patients safely using ergonomic techniques, hydraulic lifts, and other safe patient handling devices as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Washington State Certification as a Radiologic Technologist
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registration in MRI required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems in a clinical imaging environment
- Familiarity with MRI safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
