Key Responsibilities

• Triage patients according to care requirements and acuity level upon arrival to the Emergency Department
• Provide care to patients with urgent or critical illness, as well as those seeking treatment for non-urgent conditions
• Perform ongoing assessment of patient condition and implement immediate interventions as appropriate
• Deliver discharge teaching and patient education to support continuity of care
• Provide care across a broad range of patient populations including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Collaborate on an inter-disciplinary level and communicate effectively based on individual patient needs, intellectual level, and physical ability

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI or MOAB certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience caring for diverse patient populations across all age groups
