Contract | 13 Weeks | Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered, while continually monitoring patient condition and responding to changes in status
• Prepare equipment and supplies; implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures in both Radiology and CT; analyze results and resolve image quality issues including repositioning and repeating procedures as needed
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as required

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and CT — must be submitted with application
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association — must be submitted with application
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in both Radiology and CT

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Completion of a CT technology certificate program in addition to the associate degree
• Prior travel assignment experience in a radiology or CT setting
• Experience working in a community hospital environment
