Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10-hour shifts preferred | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Minimum of 10 shifts per month, alternating weekends | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting Cath, EP, and IR procedures
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies in a 5-bed unit environment
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as required per unit scheduling guidelines
• Uphold a zero-tolerance standard for patient experience, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care
• Work collaboratively with unit secretaries and available technician support staff

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including both Cath and EP experience
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EP (Electrophysiology) experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Experience working in a Chest Pain Center-accredited environment
