Physical Therapist – Travel (Acute Care)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday–Friday (No Weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Adhere to all credentialing and compliance requirements, with documentation due one week prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license required – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience required – no new graduates
• Acute care experience required
• Ability to provide 2 weeks' notice upon assignment conclusion
• Overtime must be pre-approved; on-call is not required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
• Strong clinical documentation and time management skills
