Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (17:45–06:15)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG findings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS as required
• Float within scope to other units or areas within the facility based on census and staffing needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Complete required orientation modules, which may include both billable and non-billable hours

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care or Telemetry
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• EKG Course / Telemetry competency required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience floating across multiple unit types within a hospital setting
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
