Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a patient population that includes oncology, step-down, and high-acuity sickle cell cases
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments in accordance with facility protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — Nursys license verification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing in a similar-size facility
• Current BLS certification — certification card required at submission
• Complete work history/resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist and professional references required at time of submission
• No time-off requests (RTO) will be considered for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy certification (ONS or equivalent)
• Experience caring for oncology or sickle cell patient populations
• Prior experience in a high-volume, large acute care setting
