Key Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Support accurate and timely imaging to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions
- Administer contrast materials via venipuncture as required and within scope of certification
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Registration: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) state license in California required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced certification in CT modality
