Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an overflow unit supporting post-surgical and observation patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6/7 while adapting to a transitioning team nursing model
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend rotation as needed
• Float between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as operationally required
• Adhere to all facility compliance, submission, and holiday coverage requirements, including willingness to work holidays falling within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• At least one prior completed travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible
• BLS certification required; all certifications must be current or have a documented renewal plan at time of submission
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of RN experience preferred
• EPIC electronic health record experience preferred
• Experience working in overflow, post-surgical, or observation unit settings
