Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties with strong proficiency in robotic, orthopedic, and neurological surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotation, including 1 on-call shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month (response time within 30 minutes required)
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Complete all required facility modules prior to start date, prioritizing time-sensitive assignments promptly upon confirmation
• Adhere to strict facility policies including a smoke-free/nicotine-free environment and a strict no-call-in policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license considered)
• Minimum 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience required
• Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurological OR experience required
• ACLS and BLS required at time of submittal
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; time off requests submitted after initial submission will likely not be approved
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with EKG interpretation and pharmacology (testing required during orientation; two attempts maximum per test)
• Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive priorities and complete pre-start compliance requirements promptly
