CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-hour shifts (7PM–7AM) | Every 3rd weekend required | Holiday coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of CT imaging studies including head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTAs, PE studies, and run-offs — averaging approximately 20 scans per day
• Operate Canon CT equipment within a single-scanner department using Merge RIS/PACS
• Start and manage peripheral IVs as required for contrast administration and patient care
• Float to X-ray and provide coverage in additional areas as needed
• Collaborate with lead tech and radiologists; support after-hours and weekend preliminary reading workflows
• Participate in a department-specific orientation of approximately 1 week (three 12-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) with CT specialty certification — RT(CT), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification through NMTCB
• Active West Virginia Radiological Technologist license OR Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic CT license through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated experience performing CT studies including head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTAs, and PE studies
• Ability to independently start IVs — required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CT run-off studies
• Familiarity with Merge RIS/PACS systems
• Experience operating Canon CT equipment
