RN L&D Fulltime Days W.E.S.T. Float Team position.

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Location: Virtual/Atlanta, GA
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

Key Role Highlights

• Work across multiple hospital units and clinical settings (L&D, med-surg, others) providing flexible nursing support where needed.

• Act as a critical resource RN to maintain smooth operations and deliver outstanding patient care system-wide.

Core Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases.
• Implement the full Nursing Process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Administer medications, prepare patients for procedures, maintain sterile techniques, and manage IVs.
• Communicate empathetically and effectively with patients and families.
• Adhere strictly to safety policies: patient ID protocols, verbal orders, and surgical timeouts.
• Adapt to changing schedules and unit needs with flexibility and professionalism.
• Complete ongoing education, competency assessments, and maintain certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Mentor, precept, and support teammates; participate actively in trainings and meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
• Certification in BLS, NRP, and ACLS required; national specialty certification preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, communication, teamwork, and calmness under pressure.
• Proficient in English and basic computer skills.
