Description

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Type: Full-Time | School-Year Contract

 

Overview:
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students improve communication skills, access the curriculum, and achieve meaningful progress through individualized and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy to students across various communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support classroom integration and generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility, goal development, and service delivery planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance requirements
  • Support prevention and early-intervention initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Prior school-based experience preferred but not required
