Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration:13 weeks
Shift: Days – 5x8s (07:30–16:00)

Job Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammography exams and stereotactic breast procedures under radiologist direction.
Greet and prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure proper positioning for optimal image quality.
Select appropriate exposure factors and adhere to imaging protocols to produce accurate and diagnostic radiographs.
Maintain compliance with all mammography quality standards, including MQSA and ACR QA/QC guidelines.
Complete required continuing education specific to mammography practice.
Document patient information, exams, and procedures in the radiology information system for record accuracy and billing.
Maintain equipment performance and participate in routine quality control procedures.
Support workflow and collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent education.
Active NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or license-eligible.
ARRT Mammography certification required.
Minimum one year of progressive mammography experience.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to perform mammographic and stereotactic procedures independently.
Strong knowledge of mammography imaging protocols, safety practices, and QC requirements.
Ability to interact professionally with patients and provide clear communication throughout the exam process.
