Position Overview

We are seeking a flexible and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department units based on departmental needs. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and a collaborative mindset to provide safe, high-quality patient care across multiple care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Med/Surg or Emergency Room settings as assigned
• Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the designated EMR system
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active and unrestricted California RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
• TNCC certification required within one year of hire
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all organizational levels

Additional Requirements

• Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs as required for all nursing staff
• Completion of annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training with certificate of completion required prior to start
• Training must comply with applicable state requirements for temporary and registry staff
