Position Specific Details
PEDS ER RN
No Local Travelers (Must live at least 50 miles away from facility.)
MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)
2 years of ED experience preferred (does NOT need to be pediatric specific)
Copy of Nursing Diploma/Transcript required
BLS, ACLS, CPI*, PALS Required (*Can complete de-escalation module with BSMH)
Afternoons/Nights, 3:30p-4a required to work every other weekend/major holiday
Unit Specific Details
14 Bed Pediatric ED
Patients: Ages 0-20
Skill Sets: Conscious Sedation
Ratio*: 1:4
*Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing. Ratios are subject to change based on staffing.
