Description

Job Overview
A critical access hospital in Pecos, Texas is seeking an experienced CT / X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a technologist who is confident performing both CT and diagnostic radiography and comfortable working night shifts with a high level of independence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations per physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and radiation protection
  • Operate and maintain CT and radiographic imaging equipment
  • Administer contrast agents as required, following safety guidelines
  • Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Adhere to hospital policies and imaging safety standards

Requirements

  • ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required
  • Active Texas imaging license required
  • Prior CT and diagnostic radiography experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to work independently on night shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
