Description

Job Overview
A subacute/long-term care facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RT who is comfortable working night shifts and managing respiratory care for medically complex patients in a post-acute setting.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care treatments per physician orders
Manage oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator support as applicable
Monitor patient respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes
Perform respiratory assessments and ABGs as required
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure compliance with facility protocols and respiratory care standards

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license
Subacute, LTACH, or long-term care experience preferred
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred if applicable)
Ability to work independently on night shifts
Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
