Description
Job Description: Responsible for providing direct patient care to specific patient populations effectively using the nursing process - Assessment, Planning, Implementation & Continual Reassessment - as the foundation for care delivery. Serves as a patient advocate; effectively coordinates care and continually promotes safety and clinical / service quality in daily practice. *This position will be a TRUE FLOAT position; traveler will float 100% of the time*
Requirements:
- CA RN Licensure
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- PALS
-NIHSS
- 3 years of experience
Shift: 3 x 12 Nights 1900-0730 weekend rotation and on-call required
*CPMC RN will be a true full float position- CPMC Van Ness, CPMC Mission Bernal, CPMC Davies.*
Each campus is about 15 minutes from each other, and there is a shuttle transport across the campuses. It will be very rare that a traveler will float mid shift. They may be scheduled at a different campus for each shift though. Travelers will be notified 2 hours prior to their start time where they should report to.
