Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Cath Lab
Unit: Cath Lab – Unit 7570
Facility: Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center
Location: 1798 N Garey Ave, Pomona, CA 91767
Start Date: 01/13/2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 4×10-hour shifts
Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
On-Call Requirement: 8–10 on-call shifts per month (includes one weekend)

Job Responsibilities

Monitor, circulate, and scrub for cardiac catheterization procedures
Support procedures including:
- Coronary angiograms, PTCA, PCI
- Peripheral angiograms
- TAVR / TAVI
- EP ablations, Watchman, pacemakers, ICDs, Bi-V ICDs
Assist with pre- and post-procedure care in the holding/recovery area (1–2 times per month)
Monitor hemodynamics using Philips Xper system
Operate and assist with procedures using Canon X-ray equipment
Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
Remove sheaths and manage vascular closure devices (Perclose, StarClose, D-Stat, etc.)
Administer cardiac and emergency medications per protocol
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Cath Lab safety standards

Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience with monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing
License:
- Active California RN License (required at submission)
Certifications:
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- NIHSS – Preferred
Skills:
- Cardiac cath lab and interventional procedures
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Sedation monitoring
- Vascular access and closure systems
Compliance:
- References required
- Copy of certifications required
- COVID vaccine not required
