Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele (Nights)

Assignment Requirements

• Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Shift: Nights
• Unit: Med/Surg Tele

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applicable state/district
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Tele experience
• Certifications (Required):
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
• EMR Experience: Cerner (Required)
• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN – Highly desired

• Deliver patient care in a competent, compassionate, and efficient manner
• Apply age-appropriate care based on knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan
• Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full review of systems
• Interpret patient data to identify and respond to individualized care needs
• Demonstrate understanding of appropriate treatment ranges for Med/Surg Tele patients
• Complete admission assessments within established timeframes per hospital policy
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
