Job Details

• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Call: May be required
• Scheduling: No 48-hour shifts; block scheduling possible upon request
• Floating: Not required
• Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 1 week; blackout on 12/31; must include RTO plan with submission and make up at end of contract
• Patient Ratio:

  • Laboring Patient: 1:1
  • Postpartum: 1:3 (Mom to 3 babies)
• Number of Beds: 5
• Scrub Color: Turquoise
• EMR System: Cerner

Requirements

• Licensure: Tennessee RN License required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred but not required
• Other:

  • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Required to work Christmas Eve or Christmas Night

• Provide direct and indirect patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, developmental, and general care needs
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians regarding patient condition, diagnostic results, and symptoms
