CT Technologist (CT/X‑Ray) – Overnight

Location: New York, NY 10003 Shift: Nights, Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM–8:30 AM (5x8) Start Date: February 2, 2026 Assignment Length: 8 Weeks

About the Role

This position requires an experienced CT Technologist who is also proficient in X‑Ray imaging. The role supports a low‑volume, steady‑paced orthopedic imaging environment and requires the ability to work independently during overnight hours. The patient population includes pediatrics through geriatrics across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑quality CT and X‑Ray imaging following established protocols and safety standards.
  • Operate CT and portable X‑Ray equipment confidently; experience with Siemens systems preferred.
  • Manage a low‑volume caseload of up to 20 patients per shift, often fewer.
  • Rotate across multiple imaging areas within the facility as needed.
  • Document imaging procedures accurately within the facility’s EMR (Epic preferred).
  • Support orthopedic imaging needs including extremities, spine/pelvis, thorax, musculoskeletal, and trauma‑related studies.
  • Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, brain perfusion, and multiplanar reconstructions.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of CT and X‑Ray experience.
  • IV Certification (required).
  • ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications.
  • State radiologic technologist license.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients/equipment over 150 lbs with or without assistive devices.
  • Comfortable working independently on an overnight shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating Siemens CT equipment.
  • Experience with Epic EMR.

Training Schedule

  • First 2 weeks: Tuesday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM for onboarding and training.
  • After training: Standard overnight schedule (Mon–Fri, 12:00 AM–8:30 AM).

  • Dual‑modality role: CT and X‑Ray.
  • First‑time travelers accepted.
  • Scrubs: Charcoal grey.
  • Patient population includes pediatrics through geriatrics.
  • Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU.
  • General skills required: Portables, orthopedic imaging, trauma imaging.
