Position Overview

HCA Florida City Center is seeking a CT / X-Ray Technologist to support imaging services at its Freestanding Emergency Department and main facility. This role requires a tech who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced ED environment and capable of covering both CT and X-ray.

Unit Details

• Beds: 11
• Staffing:
  • 1 technologist covering both CT & X-ray per shift
  • Day Shift: 1 tech
  • Night Shift: 1 tech
• Equipment: GE
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirement: None

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

• Active CT and X-ray license
• BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and manage imaging workflow solo

Typical Procedures

• CT Exams:
  • Head, Chest, Abdomen & Pelvis
  • PE studies
  • Stroke imaging
• X-Ray Exams:
  • Chest, Abdomen
  • Extremities, Spine, Head

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Comfortable performing both CT and X-ray
• Strong critical thinking and time-management skills
• Able to function independently in an ED setting
• Willing to cover shifts at both the FSED and main hospital
