Description

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Requirements

Mon-Thursday 830-7pm

In house CT: 32 slice GE Optima 660

CT Trailer: 16 slice GE lightspeed 16 PRO

X-Ray

Shimadzu portables

GE fluoro

Shimadzu X-Ray

GE C-arms 9800 and 9900

PACS: M7

RIS: Cerner

Licenses: CT, X-Ray, Fluoro(preferred)

Education and Work Experience:

Associate?s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
