MRI Technologist Travel or Local Opportunity

Location: Philadelphia
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8s
Shift Options:

• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Compensation:

• Travel: $3,144.00 weekly gross
• Local: $70 to $73 per hour

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI experience

Responsibilities

• Verify diagnosis, provider orders, and patient identification using Epic documentation
• Prepare and educate patients by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Obtain patient history, screen for implants and prior surgeries, and verify GFR when required
• Start IVs and administer MRI contrast per radiologist protocol
• Operate MRI scanners, RF coils, workstations, patient monitoring equipment, and injectors
• Produce and verify high quality diagnostic images
• Perform quality assurance testing per departmental protocols
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and tolerance throughout exams
• Assist radiologists and clinical team members during procedures
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, TJC, DOH, and all safety regulations
• Manage inventory and maintain organized workstations
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Communicate equipment or image quality issues promptly
• Foster positive working relationships with staff and patients

Education and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology or MRI program required
• ARRT MRI certification required
• Active MRI certification required
