Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Operating Room RN (Transplant) with strong multi-organ transplant experience. This role primarily supports liver transplant cases but may assist with other OR procedures when no transplant cases are scheduled.

⚠️ This is a highly specialized role – requirements are non-negotiable.

Required Qualifications (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

• Active RN License (State or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of direct Liver/Transplant OR experience
• Must have hands-on experience with:
  • Liver, Heart, Lung & Kidney transplants
  • Reimplantation of organs (not just harvesting)
  • Misonix / CUSA proficiency
• Experience must be clearly documented on skills checklist

Certifications

• BLS (AHA or client) – required at submission
• ACLS – required at submission
• NIHSS – must obtain prior to start

Schedule & Unit Details

• Shift: Day 3x12 (11:00 – 23:30)
• On-Call:
  • 1 shift per week
  • 2 weekend 12-hour shifts per month
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
• Floating: Yes, within scope
• Block Schedule: Not available
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Pending License: Accepted

Special Requirements

• Nicotine-free facility (10-panel + cotinine drug screen required)
• Must complete time-sensitive onboarding modules immediately
• All RTO must be submitted upfront
• Smoke-free campus – no exceptions
