Description

Travel Labor & Delivery RN

Location: Newton, MA
Duration: 12 weeks

Shift Details:

36-hour 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM
Rotations based on unit needs; schedule not guaranteed
Every other weekend shift and rotating holidays required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate and expert nursing care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, progress labor, and assist with delivery procedures
Educate patients and their families about labor, postpartum care, and newborn care
Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure safe and positive birth experiences
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in good standing
Previous experience in Labor & Delivery required
Knowledge of obstetric protocols and neonatal care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
