Position Overview

HCA Florida University FSED is seeking a Travel CT Technologist to join their night shift imaging team. This role supports a busy freestanding emergency department performing CT imaging while collaborating closely with X-ray staff to ensure timely diagnostic services for emergency patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, screening, and image quality
• Operate GE CT equipment and maintain equipment functionality
• Work collaboratively with X-ray technologists to support department workflow
• Maintain patient safety, radiation safety, and documentation standards
• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment

• Beds: 11
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 1 CT/X-ray tech
  • Night Shift: 1 CT/X-ray tech
• Patient Population: Emergency Department

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active state licensure (Florida)
• BLS certification required
• Prior emergency or freestanding ED imaging experience preferred
• Experience working independently on night shift strongly preferred
