Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a busy acute care radiology department for an evening shift assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and adherence to departmental protocols and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate CT equipment efficiently and safely (GE experience preferred).
• Administer contrast media injections as required (must be licensed to inject contrast).
• Ensure proper patient positioning and provide clear instructions to obtain optimal imaging results.
• Monitor patients during procedures for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Participate in weekend rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions promptly.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Proficiency with GE CT systems preferred.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings.
• Ability to work independently during evening shifts.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• Active ARRT (CT) Certification.
• Active BLS Certification.
• Valid state license (willing to wait).
• Must be licensed to inject contrast.
• Experience limited to CT only (no X-ray responsibilities).
