Location: Naples, FL (School District)
Start Date: August 4, 2026
End Date: May 28, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Expected Hours: 35 hours per week
Cancellation Notice: 30 Days
School Calendar Breaks (No Work / No Pay):
- November 21 – November 29
- December 20 – January 2
- March 20 – March 27
Please Note: Candidates will only be paid for hours worked. There is no pay for holidays, school closings, or scheduled calendar breaks.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral services within a school district in Naples, FL for the 2026–2027 academic year. The BCBA will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support students with behavioral and developmental needs.
This role focuses on assessment, intervention planning, data analysis, and ongoing support to ensure student success in educational settings.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral services to students
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff on behavioral strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
Required Qualifications
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Active BCBA certification in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of supervised fieldwork
- Experience working as a Behavior Analyst in school settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous school-based experience
- Clear, articulate communication skills
- Ability to effectively explain assessment results and behavioral strategies to educators, administrators, and families
