RN – Pediatrics | Travel | California

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based care to acutely ill pediatric patients in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and hospital policy.

Responsibilities:

• Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Recognize and respond to rapidly changing pediatric conditions
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Implement physician orders safely and accurately
• Document all patient care in Cerner EMR
• Maintain compliance with infection control, medication safety, and regulatory standards
• Participate in required competencies and professional practice initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years recent RN experience (Pediatric experience required)
• Active, unrestricted California RN license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA PALS certification
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Must meet all facility health and compliance requirements

Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, knowledge of advanced nursing practices, and the ability to manage high-acuity pediatric patients effectively.
