Description
RN – Pediatrics | Travel | California
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based care to acutely ill pediatric patients in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and hospital policy.
Responsibilities:
- Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Recognize and respond to rapidly changing pediatric conditions
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team
- Implement physician orders safely and accurately
- Document all patient care in Cerner EMR
- Maintain compliance with infection control, medication safety, and regulatory standards
- Participate in required competencies and professional practice initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years recent RN experience (Pediatric experience required)
- Active, unrestricted California RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Current AHA PALS certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Must meet all facility health and compliance requirements
Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, knowledge of advanced nursing practices, and the ability to manage high-acuity pediatric patients effectively.
