Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Lafayette, Indiana

Job Details

• Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, Dayshift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, 10 shifts per month including weekends
• Schedule Flexibility: Block schedule accommodation to be discussed
• Locals Accepted: Yes
• Pending State License: Accepted if application is submitted
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 1 winter holiday
• Guaranteed Hours:

  • 8 and 10-hour shifts: 40 hours/week
  • 3 twelve-hour shifts: 36 hours/week
  • 4 twelve-hour shifts: 48 hours/week

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Certifications:

  • ARRT(R) (National Radiologic Technologist Certification)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or RQI accepted
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or RQI accepted
• Experience: Strong experience with intervention and performing STEMI required
• Skills: Comfortable using EP (Electrophysiology) devices
• License: Valid state license for Cath Lab Tech in Indiana (pending license accepted if applied)
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license or passport required

Experience Requirements

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including criminal, sex offender, and education verification required
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months
• Physical exam within 12 months of start date
• Fit mask test within 12 months (N95 or approved respirators)
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • TB test within 1 year
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required (no exemptions)
  • Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required (no exemptions)
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
  • Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required for flu season
• References: Minimum 2 recent employment references with supervisory titles
• Skills checklist and competency exams required annually
• Various facility-specific compliance and orientation documents must be completed prior to start

Additional Notes

• Must be able to work on-call shifts including weekends
• Must be willing to work at least one winter holiday
• Pending license applications accepted if submitted prior to start
• First-time travelers accepted
