Description

Shift: Day (4x10 Hours, 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
✅ Licensure & Certifications

Active California RN License
BLS (AHA) – required
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification – required
All certifications must be in hand at time of submission

✅ Experience

Minimum 2 years Oncology Infusion RN experience (required for submission)
Recent experience in Outpatient or Inpatient Oncology Infusion Center
Previous charge experience preferred
Epic charting experience preferred

✅ Clinical Skills – Oncology & Infusion

Chemotherapy administration (IV push & continuous infusion)
Monitoring chemotherapy & managing cytotoxic spills
Body fluid handling post-chemotherapy
Blood & blood product administration
Central line/PICC line care & blood draws
Port access and management
IV hydration, multivitamin infusions, infusion pump management
Starting & maintaining IV access

Patient Population Adult & Geriatric oncology patients Experience with various cancer types (Breast, Lung, Colorectal, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Prostate, Pancreatic, etc.) ✅ Oncology Knowledge & Emergency Management > Oncologic emergencies: Anaphylaxis, Sepsis, Hemorrhage, Tumor Lysis Syndrome, Extravasation injury Neutropenic precautions Pain management, including IV push narcotics Recognition & communication of abnormal lab values ✅ Compliance & Submission Requirements 50-mile travel requirement (locals accepted at lower rate) Must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing 7-year work history verification required Background disclosure required prior to submission Only one holiday RTO approved Modules non-billable (up to 16 hrs included in NBO)
