Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a fast-paced acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have strong trauma and stroke imaging experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment with varying patient volumes.

This position is best suited for technologists with Level 1 Trauma experience who thrive in dynamic clinical settings and can maintain accuracy and efficiency during overnight shifts.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
• Provide imaging support for trauma and stroke patients
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and image quality standards
• Operate CT equipment and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare team members
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards
• Deliver compassionate patient care in emergent and routine situations

Job Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2 years required (3 years preferred)
• HARD STOP REQUIREMENTS:
  • Level 1 Trauma experience
  • Stroke imaging experience
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ARRT (R)

• ARRT (CT)

   

Preferred:

• Fluoroscopy Permit

Schedule & Facility Details

• Shift: Nights — 4x10 Hour Shifts (20:00 – 06:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Alternating weekends
• Floating: Required based on department needs
• On-Call: Not required
• Scheduling Requests: Not accommodated
• Pending License Accepted: No

Patient Volume

• Approximate caseload: 18–23 patients per shift
